Dr. Arlie Powell has spent most of his life working in the field of Agriculture & Horticulture.  

He retired from his position as Fruit Specialist and Horticulture Professor at Auburn University in 2000.  After retiring he and his wife, Gwen Powell joined their son and daughter in law, Jason & Shelley Powell at Petals from the Past and added fruit to the nursery and farm.
