ECHINACEA, also known as Coneflower is a beloved perennial for many gardeners as well as a host of pollinators. It is also a popular medicinal herb and most famous for its immune boosting properties.
Echinacea is native to North America and has been used throughout history as a valued medicine. There are many different species and cultivars of Echinacea. Angustifolia and purpurea are the most potent and have the highest medicinal properties.
ECHINACEA is in the aster family and is a beautiful addition to any garden. It is pretty in a prairie garden or wildflower garden, but also very beautiful in a cottage garden, herb garden or potager garden.
